I am a designer, not a programmer and am very new to web design. I can’t seem to get the look I see other websites have. I need to create a web page that stays centered in the browser window even when you enlarge the window. I also need a background that fills up that space as well. I don’t want white to show when the browser window is larger. An example of this is www.hipsticker.com. Please Help!!!

I am working on a horizontally oriented site in GoLive - not sure if that is the proper terminology but I mean a site that scrolls across the screen rather than down. My problem is that even though there is nothing making my page longer than the window, I am still getting a vertical scroll bar. Not a huge problem but it looks bad and unprofessional. Any suggestions?

I have published my site and it was built on Mac platform, but the site doesn’t work on PC platform. Shouldn’t it work
on both?

I have created a web gallery in Photoshop, and saved it to files of a site I am building. I am trying to insert a component (or any navbar)on to the main gallery page(index.htm) but can’t do it. 1. How do I do this and customize this page in golive and 2. is it possible to convert a frame based page to a table based page.

Thank you in advance.

I have built rollovers with golive 7 and when I preview the page they work. but when I upload the page to the web host server and view the page through the internet the rollovers don’t display - they work but won’t show when the cursor moves over them

I have the same problem as Fred does in comment #7 as follows: “I have built rollovers with golive 7 and when I preview the page they work. but when I upload the page to the web host server and view the page through the internet the rollovers don’t display - they work but won’t show when the cursor moves over them”

Any help, please??? Thank you!!

is there a way that golive can automatically shrink the pictures on my site to become thumbnails so I can save a whole lot of loading time. I know if I had to do these all individually it would probably add 1 more hour to my updating I already use 3 with looking for good content editing and making sure everything works welll.

My site comes in great on most browsers but, on a few, it comes in all jumbled up, and on some the page size is too big. What can I do? I do not use tables - would that be the only answer?
