But I like tables for layout

Okay, I know, you've been writing tables for layout for years. You're comfortable with your numerous nestings. Never mind that when your co-worker has to edit your code once a year (when you're on vacation at Disney World), she spends 20 minutes just deciphering your convoluted snake pit of table cells and rows.
