Are you getting the most out of your words

Web writing is a lot of condensation of words. If you can say it in 10 words, your Web editor will ask you to say it in 5 (or 3). If you need 10,000 characters, chances are good you'll be only given 2,500. But there's more to Web writing than just being concise. For instance, some phrases you may regularly use are actually wordy and would really tighten up your Web pages if you changed them, like "Final Outcome" or "True Facts". Think about it... Avram, my editor at About for nearly 7 years, wrote this article on how to write strong Web pages, and he's also the one that demands two word titles (just kidding, Avram...).
