Starting a Business

I have been working in the Web industry for many years now, most of that time as a full-time Web developer for a corporation. But it's interesting to me how many people assume, when I say I'm a Web Developer, that I'm running my own business, possibly from my basement. There are a lot of Web designers out there in business, and being a freelancer is often a viable option. But if you're really entrepreneurial, you will want to start your own business. So, when I read this article on A List Apart, I was interested. No, it's not specifically about starting a Web business, but that doesn't really matter. I agree being a freelancer is a very viable option! I currently attend college to help sharpen up my skills, although I also have a small business. It keeps me going over the summer and keeps me on top of the game. – Tim (willing to assist you!)
