Graphics make the Web page
Friday June 22, 2007
There is a reason they say that a "picture is worth a thousand words," and in Web design, the graphics, images and photographs you use can make or break your design.
I have seen many good Web designs go up in smoke because the graphic was poorly chosen. In one situation it wasn't the image that was the problem, but the alt text. But usually it's the image that makes the Web page work or not. If you have nice graphical elements on your page, it will make everything seem nicer.
