Why use a solid border when you can be more decorative?

CSS Border Styles
It's no wonder to me that many people feel that CSS designs are very rigid and boring looking. Most CSS designers stick within very narrow parameters to make sure their designs look the same in all browsers. But even if you want to limit your designs that way, there are lots of options out there for designs that are forgotten. CSS borders have a lot of styles that are completely ignored. Most designers focus solely on colored versus black borders. But did you know you can have dashed or dotted line borders? And you don't have to have a single solid line border, CSS provides a double border as well. Plus there are a few styles that aren't as widely supported that you can play with in browsers that support them (like Firefox).
