What's new in Dreamweaver CS3

Tuesday October 16, 2007
Now that Dreamweaver CS3 has been out for a while, you may be trying to decide if you should upgrade from Dreamweaver 8 to the latest version.

There are a lot of changes to the new version - not the least of which that it's now fully integrated into the Adobe suite of products. In fact, some people who bought CS2 might be disappointed to learn that GoLive is no longer part of the Suite, in favor of Dreamweaver. But how do you decide to upgrade? And when? If you have a version of Dreamweaver that's older than CS3 what would make you want to switch?

Dreamweaver CS3 is pretty nice, I dont think anyone should really worry about the fact GoLive has been replaced by a superior product. Theres not a lot of new features except the adobe AJAX framework ’spry’ built into the software, this includes some nice effects and data parsing functions. It also handles CSS nicer.
The rest is pretty much the same as CS2.
