Meta tags are good for more than just SEO

Sometimes, it can be tempting to think that meta tags only include information for search engine optimization (SEO), but there are many other meta tags that provide additional information and control over your Web pages. You probably already know about using meta tags to refresh and redirect Web pages, but did you know that you can also define the author, control caching, set copyright data, and even control Web robots like the Googlebot.
