Controlling the Web cache gives you power over your site

Web caches add an illusion of speed to Web pages, but they can cause your pages to look stale or old if they aren't well built. Also, as a Web designer it can be critical to see your pages outside of the cache so that you know that the changes you made have taken effect. But you may not realize that there is an HTML tag you can use to control how your page is cached.
