What are some of your favorite Web design books?
Sunday July 27, 2008
I was reading a post on RS Designs today about favorite Web design books. The advantage of these books is that they were available in the public library. Keep in mind that some of the newest books might not be available in your local library, but if you ask the librarian, they may be able to order them from other libraries or even put it on their purchase list. What are your favorite Web design books? Some of my favorites include:
- Don't Make Me Think by Steve Krug
- Learning Web Design by Jennifer Niederst
- HTML and XHTML: The Definitive Guide by Chuck Musciano and Bill Kennedy

Thank you for mentioning and linking to RS Designs. It’s nice to know you stopped by.
Thank you, too, for your recommendations. I will have to find those books and read them. I am finding reading books like these very helpful to fill in the gaps of my knowledge. I believe I will be starting my own library of web design books.

CSS Zen Garden: The Beauty in Web Design
Anything by Eric Meyer
Anything by Molly Holzschlag
Anything by Dave Shea
And so many more…
To create webs and specially to use CSS is important to practice. The more you try it, the more you learn. And don’t try to solve your problems at the forums, wait 24 hours and you’ll do it by yourself. ^.^
