The priniciples of good Web design

Tuesday July 29, 2008
PSDTuts has a great article on 9 Essential Principles for Good Web Design. Collis lists these principles as: precedence, spacing, navigation, design to build, typography, usability, alignment, clarity, and consistency. He gives great examples and provides lots of additional reading on each of the topics. Many Web developers forget about the basic principles of design - these are important whether you're building a Web page or creating an art exhibit. Design impacts how we feel about things and good design influences the audience the way the designer wants.
