Color can be shocking and fun

Sunday August 31, 2008
I found out about the Function article 32 Examples of Websites with a Brave colour Scheme from the About.com Guide to Desktop Publishing. This site shows a bunch of examples of websites where the decided to take a shocking path with their color choices. But a lot of the color schemes really do work well, even if you think it might not (mint, chocolate, and bright blue???). Choosing your color scheme is one of the most fun parts of doing a design, but don't let the "rules" of color choices bar you from a scheme that can work, if you're brave.
