Just make that logo bigger!

Wednesday October 29, 2008
I had to laugh when I read this post on Web Distortion this week. I mean, Paul was describing essentially my first 5 years of Web design. It seemed like every client wanted to divide his site up the way his business was organized or wanted the logo bigger as a branding strategy. Ironically, I'm struggling with a client right now who wants her site to look "exactly like [her competitor's]" including the animated images and obnoxious fonts. At least she hasn't asked me to make the logo bigger, of course it already takes up 2/3s of the page, so maybe that's big enough for her (kidding! sorta...).
