I think you need an “all of the above option”. Fo this poll.
It got to be Flash splash pages. That is so nineties. While I must admit that I too once had a flash intro page on my site for no real reason. I was quick to drop the idea faster than I had adopted it in the first place. I fail to understand why anyone in this day and age would still have a splash page on their website. As an internet user I don’t think I will ever vist a site that has a flash splash page, no matter how established the website may be,
What I hate most about my site is lack of breadcrumb navigation.
Why no all-of-the above:
“most” = superlative, there can be only one. Think Highlander, and choose the most hated feature, even if they really do hate them all.
Plus, if your site really does have every one of these problems, um, how are you getting anyone to come to it?
I hesitated to answer this poll because I know my site is NOT perfect (whose is?), yet I can’t say that my customers hate anything. Most reactions I get are that it’s easy to navigate and they like the information provided … so, how does “almost perfect – no one has said they hate anything” sound as a possible option?
