Web Design Software Pick of the Week: KompoZer

KompoZer
It's September and we're entering the "Web Editor" season. I'm going to be working on updating my Web editor reviews and top pick lists from now until November (hopefully earlier). If you have a Web editor that isn't on one of my top pick lists, let me know. But what that means is that the software pick of the week will be primarily Web editors, as that's what I'll be looking at.

KompoZer is a perennial favorite among my readers, mostly because it's one of the only free WYSIWYG editors available. It's based on the Nvu code but is supposed to get updated more often. I haven't seen an update of either product for over a year now, but KompoZer still works well. And it runs on Windows, Macintosh, and Linux variants. So if you're looking for a free WYSIWYG editor, you've found it.

I use Dreamweaver and am very happy with it, but, I just went back over your list of picks and found some goodies I missed before. Jeff
