Copying as Marketing—Thinking About Copyright

I've been writing on the web for more than 15 years and in that time I've had lots of discussions about copyright. All of my work is still copyrighted, and protected, but I am starting to consider that there are many other options out there, and that focusing on protecting copyright isn't always the right decision. In fact, in many cases, allowing people to copy your work can reasult in more sales, more pageviews, more fans, and more money!
