The CANVAS Element is Hard, but Worth It

One of the challenges about learning web design and HTML is that there is so much to learn, and it never seems to stop. Once you learn one thing, another comes along. Is it all really worth it? HTML5 introduces us to a lot of new elements and techniques, but you may figure you should just ignore some or all of them, but eventually you'll want to learn the CANVAS element.
