UltraEdit and UltraEdit Studio are examples of powerful text editors that can be used for HTML development, web applications, and as an IDE. I have taken a look at the latest versions of these products and they are well suited for web developers and web programmers who use a lot of programming languages (like PHP, Ruby, JavaScript, and so on) in their web development. These tools are not suited to designers who want to focus on the visual side of web design. But if you already know HTML or are trying to learn it, the UE products can be very helpful.
Note, I have not done a full review of these products, as I have only had access to the trialware and the website. If I ever get a review copy, I will update these profiles with all my thoughts on these editors.
