Too Many Links Can Hurt Your Pages

I’ve been writing about web design and HTML since 1997, and in that time I have written hundreds or thousands of articles. I would love it if everyone reading this blog clicks through and reads all of them, preferably right now. Don’t worry I’ll wait.…

Okay, now that you’re back, you’re probably thinking that it would have helped if I had included links to those articles first. But if I included links to all (or even a small percentage of them) you would have been overwhelmed or annoyed and would have ignored them anyway. Putting too many links on a web page or article doesn’t get people to visit the links, but it can hurt your pages and your site as a whole.
