Whether you are a Web designer or Web developer, a portfolio of your best work can be a strong asset in helping you to get a new job or more clients. Don't make the mistake that just because you to more of the programming of Web sites than the design that a portfolio won't help you out. Some of the best portfolios I've seen have been for PHP developers showing off their scripts.
