Guide Review - Web Design in a Nutshell by Jennifer Niederst

This book has the subtitle "A Desktop Quick Reference" - and that is exactly what it is. It covers, in brief, nearly every technology used on the Web. It's more than just a reference, however. It provides suggestions for handling difficult questions that plague Web developers, such as what to do about how different browsers render HTML. It's not really meant to be read cover to cover, but you might find yourself doing exactly that. It is easy to read, and you'll learn a lot about Web development and design. It's more than a design book it's for anyone who puts up Web pages.
