Guide Review - Dreamweaver MX: The Missing Manual by David McFarland
If you're looking for a book to round out your use of Dreamweaver, you need look no further. Dreamweaver is a very hefty program, and while the manual included is more than just a pamphlet, it's really just a "getting started" guide. The Missing Manual offers you all that you get with the manual, but expands on it, a lot. There are chapters on basics of Web pages including text, links, images, tables, and so on. But it expands on it, to teach you how to use the Dreamweaver snippets, customize your copy of Dreamweaver, and work with databases to create dynamic Web sites. There are some suggestions that result in HTML that is not as valid as I might like.
