  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Very strict HTML compliance
  • Out of date

Description

  • Handles HTML 4.0 and CSS1.
  • Very strict rendering of HTML codes, especially tables.
  • Lots of available plug-ins.

Guide Review - Netscape 4.7

Netscape 4.7 is my browser of choice for testing. While it doesn't preview Internet Explorer pages, it is very strict in rendering the HTML. This means that if the page displays in Netscape, it will probably display fine in other browsers. While I wouldn't recommend using this browser for day-to-day browsing, you should have it available for testing.
