How To Use a Dreamweaver Snippet

Dreamweaver Snippets allow you to save and reuse chunks of code over and over. This saves time and effort in maintaining a large Web site. Plus Dreamweaver has a lot of pre-written snippets to use. Use snippets to store things like:
* Headers and footers
* Logos
* Scripts
* ...

Time Required: 1 minute
Here's How:
  1. Open the snippets tab of the code panel
    Choose Window then Snippets -OR-
    Press Shift-F9 -OR-
    Click on the snippets tab in the code panel
  2. Click in your page where you want the snippet to be placed. (Either in code or design view.)
  3. Navigate to the snippet you want in the folders.
  4. Double-click on the snippet to add it to your page.
