A hyperlink is text that can be clicked by your reader to go to some other Web page. Learn how to create one with FrontPage 2000 or FrontPage 98.

Time Required: 2 minutes
Here's How:
- Write the text you would like to link.
- Select the text.
- Click on the "Hyperlink" icon in the standard toolbar (it looks like a blue ball with a small white chain link below it).
- To link to a file on the Web, type in the URL to that file.
- To link to a file on your hard drive, choose that file from your file list, by clicking on the "File" icon (it looks like a file with a magnifying glass).
- Click OK.
Tips:
- You can create a mail link by clicking on the "Email" icon and entering an email address.
- You can link to a new page by clicking on the "New" icon and naming your new page.
- The bookmark feature allows you to link to specific areas of the same page.
- The target frame is used if you are using framesets.
