Positive feedback is fun to give and receive. I'd like to first thank all my readers for everything they do and write to me each week. I try to respond personally to each letter I receive, but that can take a long time (and with spam filters, the mail might not get to me or you...). So I wanted to post some of the thank you notes I've received over the years. This details some of the kind words sent in 2000.

I enjoyed knowing more about Jennifer Kyrnin. I'm a regular
visitor to her site and do find her tips and links valuable.

Very nice job in laying out the information. It is very easy to understand.
I am a little bit of a neophyte so the simplicity was appreciated.

Well, you succeeded! Also, very impressive that a personalized return note
was quickly dispatched. Very nice work and very professional!

Jennifer, thank you very much for the response! - I appreciate it, and will
get started on your advice as well as my own plans
Pete 3 Nov 2000
Your site is fantastic!
I think it is better than the class I am taking on web development.
Your form validation was much better than what we looked at in class.
I will be visiting your site regularly.
Thanks again for your super service.

When visiting the HTML about.com website I was extremely impressed with
the quality of the links and the level of organization. When I search
for a specific subject - I find links which actually relate to my
search.

Thanks for writing this VERY helpful article about tables. I had strugged
with them for a few weeks before finding your site. Now I'm ready to
redesign my site using the skills I just learned.
Peter 30 Oct 2000
excellent

[and a follow-up]
I am just sorry I did not know about your series - it would save me a lot
of time when struggling through some very long useless stuff and books
elsewhere (e.g finding all tags on a form where they leave out essentials
for the textarea like wrap=...).
I much appreciate brevity, depth and essence in each of your small articles.
Thanks again

Thank *you* Jennifer, for replying to me so quickly when you must be
very busy all the time.
I am amazed at your knowledge, and so impressed that you give it away.
Shannon 22 Oct 2000
Thank you! I am enjoying your class. It is organized and informative. I
appreciate the quick reply.
Peter 21 Oct 2000
Thank you. It's very much appreciated. I'm really enjoying your lessons -
it's a great service that you are providing.
Kristi 15 Oct 2000
The article was just what I needed. I spoke to a friend about her website
earlier. The font was really nice but 'jaggy'. Then later I was reading up
on some web design stuff and came across "anti alias" and didn't know what
it was so I searched and voila! found your site and this article.
KraizieB19 12 Oct 2000
Thanks this is going to help me out alot

Brien 11 Oct 2000
Great article . . . exactly what I wanted to find, well organized into the different types of search facilities out there.
[and a followup...]
<smile> nice to get a note back from a real person! I have visions of the
comments being gathered up by a slick little bit of javascript!
Mike 9 Oct 2000
Excellent. Thanks.

I have been reading your various articles for several months now, some
more extensively than others, and consistantly recommend "About.html" to
others. I have even used it on someone elses system while on a consult
with them on a site implementation issue when I didn't have any
references immediately available, and the client surprised me with a
request. I appreciate the information. I don't have any fresh requests,
but thought to thank you and let you know that I am out here soaking it
up. Keep up the fine work. I know that it is hard to work in a vacuum.
