XHTML CSS Two Column with Top Branding Layer Layout Template

About this Web Template:

This is a very common layout, with two columns and a top horizontal layer at the top. The left and top areas are fixed width and the right is the rest of the window space.

Details:

• top layer 100% wide and 100 pixels tall
• left column 200 pixels wide
• main column takes up the remaining space, with a white background
• works in Mozilla 1.0, Netscape 4, 6 and 7, Internet Explorer 5 and 6

To Use the Free Web Template:

1. Copy the CSS into a document named main.css
2. Copy the HTML into another document in the same directory
3. Change the text to your content
4. Don't forget to add a title
5. Publish both pages
6. If you want to add design changes - create another CSS file or add it to main.css
