Web Design Software: Which is Right For You?

By Jennifer Kyrnin, About.com

WYSIWYG stands for "What You See is What You Get" and refers to the style of Web design software that allows you to view your page as it will look to your readers as you are writing it. This style of Web design editor is most like the typical word processing programs you use on computers. If you don't use a WYSIWYG Web design editor then you will need to know some HTML to edit your Web pages.
