The Bottom Line

Web sites can be very difficult to maintain without strong tools to back them up. The project management tools in this text editor make it a good choice for Web site management.

  • Fully configurable
Cons
  • No upload and site to server management
  • Doesn't directly support Perl, PHP, and others
  • Doesn't use standard install and Windows utilities

Description

  • Support for HTML, XHTML, and XML native in the product.
  • Handles entire Web sites as one project with shared files and information.
  • Contextual highlighting of imported projects and Web sites.

Guide Review - Interspector

This is a new product offers a lot of scope and power to the Web developer. I found that it had a lot of great features, but it still feels fairly young in terms of styling and usability. The biggest flaw I would see in this product is that it is a single-user product only. But the developers have assured me that this will be coming in a future version. With this addition, this tool will become truely useful for Web teams managing Web site projects.
