Windows System Requirements for Dreamweaver CS6
In order to run Dreamweaver CS6 on the Windows platform, you need the following minimum system requirements:
- Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64 processor
- Windows XP SP2 (SP3 recommended); Windows Vista Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or Enterprise (SP1); Windows 7
- 512MB RAM
- 1GB available hard drive space for installation - and it can't be installed on removable flash-based storage
- 1280x800 display with 16-bit video card
- DVD-ROM drive
- QuickTime 7.6.6 software required for HTML5 media playback
- Internet connection required for online services and the software will not work without activation
Macintosh System Requirements for Dreamweaver CS6
In order to run Dreamweaver CS6 on a Macintosh, you need the following minimum system requirements:
- Multicore Inel processor
- Mac OS X 10.6 or 10.7
- 512MB RAM
- 1.8GB available hard drive space for installation - and it can't be installed on a volume that usese a case-sensitive file system or on removable flash-based storage
- 1280x800 display with 16-bit video card
- DVD-ROM drive
- Java Runtime Environment 1.6
- QuickTime 7.6.6 software required for HTML5 media playback
- Internet connection required for online services and the software will not work without activation
