The first thing you'll notice about Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 is that ther are a lot of tool windows that you can place where-ever is most convenient for you. At the top of the window, like every other Windows application, you have your menu bar. This includes the File, Edit, View, Insert, and other menus.

Below the menu bar is the first of Dreamweaver's many menus. The Insert menu is where you'll do most of your work. Common is the tab that is open in the above image, and this tab includes all the commonly used Web page tags and tools. You can even add your own special tags if you use them a lot.
