The Properties pane is where all the magic happens. When you click on or select a text element on your Web page, Dreamweaver opens the text properties in the Properties pane. If you don't see these elements in your Properties window, move your cursor to a section of text on your Web page.
If you still don't see it, go into the "Window" menu and make sure that "Properties" has a check mark beside it. This will toggle the Properties pane on and off.
