- Open an HTML page in Dreamweaver
- Open the Behaviors pane (Window > Behaviors or Shift-F4)
- Highlight the element you want to set an action on
- Click on the plus icon in the Behaviors pane
- Select the behavior you'd like to apply
- Some behaviors have additional options to apply
- Verify that the browser event attribute is the one you want to use
- Save your Web page
