About Aptana Studio
Aptana Studio is an IDE or integrated development environment. Instead of focusing on the HTML, Aptana focuses on the JavaScript and other elements that allow you to create Rich Internet Applications. One of the things I really like is the outline view that makes it really easy to visualize the DOM. This makes for easier CSS and JavaScript development. I also love the code assistant that tells you if your JavaScript, CSS, or HTML will work in the browsers you want it to with a quick and easy visual reference. It’s always important to test anyway, as browser support changes rapidly, but this feature is really helpful for while you’re editing. I also love how easy it is to synchronize your website, I uploaded an entire site with just one click. If you are a developer creating web applications using languages like PHP, Ruby, or Ajax, Aptana Studio is a good choice.
