A hyperlink is text that can be clicked by your reader to go to some other Web page. Learn how to create one with FrontPage 2000 or FrontPage 98.

Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 2 minutes
Here's How:
  1. Write the text you would like to link.
  2. Select the text.
  3. Click on the "Hyperlink" icon in the standard toolbar (it looks like a blue ball with a small white chain link below it).
  4. To link to a file on the Web, type in the URL to that file.
  5. To link to a file on your hard drive, choose that file from your file list, by clicking on the "File" icon (it looks like a file with a magnifying glass).
  6. Click OK.
Tips:
  1. You can create a mail link by clicking on the "Email" icon and entering an email address.
  2. You can link to a new page by clicking on the "New" icon and naming your new page.
  3. The bookmark feature allows you to link to specific areas of the same page.
  4. The target frame is used if you are using framesets.
