It's as easy to add styles to your Microsoft FrontPage Web as it is to change styles in a Word document. The interface is very similar to what you're used to in Word.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 5 minutes
Here's How:
- Open your FrontPage Web and click on "Style" in the "Format" menu.
If you already have styles defined, the selectors will display in the Styles window. - To create a new style, click "New..." This opens the "New Style" window. Type the name of the class, id, or element you want to define a style for.
- Click on the "Format" button and choose the style type you want to modify: font, paragraph, border, numbering, or position.
You can add multiple styles to the same selector. - Once you've added all the style elements you want (you can see what you've added in the "Description" area), click "OK" to return to your document.
- To apply inline styles that you've added, select the text or objects you want to apply the style to.
- Go up to the style drop-down box (it usually says "Normal" and is the first drop-down on the left), and choose the style you want to use.
Tips:
- For valid CSS, be sure to add the final semi-colon (;) on each selector in the HTML view.
