GoLive does much more than just edit HTML files for you. You can use it to manage your entire Web site. But in order to do so, you need to create a new site in Adobe. This tutorial takes you through the steps to create a new Web site in Adobe GoLive.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 10 minutes
Here's How:
- Open GoLive and click File > New Site. This will open the site wizard.
- Choose "Single User" and click Next. You can also create a site that will be edited by multiple people.
- Choose "Blank Site" and click Next. You can also convert an existing site into a new Adobe GoLive site, either on a Web/FTP server or on your hard drive.
- Give a name to your Web site that you will remember. Leave the "Create Project Folder" option checked. While you don't need to create the folder, it's much easier to have a separate location for the files.
- Verify that the folder location is where you would like it.
- Click Finish.
