How to Install Joomla

Joomla will run on Linux, Free BSD, Mac OS X, and Windows NT/2000. The Joomla authors recommend that you run it on Linux or Free BSD. But it should run if you have:

• MySQL
• PHP

• Requirements to Install Joomla
• Download Joomla!
• Unpack the Joomla File
• Create the Joomla Database
• Run Joomla Installation Program
• Start Configuring Joomla
• Set up the Database
• Set up FTP
• Administrator Account
• You're Done
