Comments from developer: A web design company site I helped develop along with the individual who created the graphics. A pretty graphic intensive site that validates and loads fairly fast given the graphic nature of the site.
Comments from Jennifer Kyrnin: According to websiteoptimization.com this page will take 77.32 seconds to load on a 56KB modem. That's a long time to wait for a page. I would test with potential clients to see if they'd be willing to wait that long for the page to load. You know your audience better than I do, but many small businesses don't have high-speed connections, and won't wait for websites to load - even nice looking ones. Do the images on this site really contribute so much to the site that you can't clear some of them out? Sure, the clouds in the background are pretty, but are they vital?
