Comments from developer: This a new site that depends heavily on people signing up. There are only a few people in the database so the search will probably be unable to locate anyone if you try it. The goal is to have the home page clearly state the purpose of the site and clearly explain what to do. The background is going to change. I appreciate any feedback.

Comments from Jennifer Kyrnin: I'm not sure what the Flash does for this site. Yes, it's pretty, but it seems to just be an animated graphic. That's why I didn't try harder to get a screen shot that included it - as it doesn't add anything to the site. Because there aren't very many listings, I would spend a little more focus on how to get more listings, rather than on the parents. I think the site does a fine job of describing what to do for the parents, but what it doesn't do is explain why I should do this. I didn't know what it meant to connect with dance or sports or music - as it says in the Flash animation. And because of that I didn't really trust the site to put in my real zip code. Whenever you ask a customer for information that is perceived as private such as address information, health information, or any information about their kids, you need to be as trustworthy as possible otherwise you won't get any results you can use. This site has no listed privacy policy and very little information other than how to fill out the form. I would add some more content to the front page and include information for getting providers as well as parents so that it is more useful.
