Comments from developer: My Baby Our Baby is a way for parents to discover memories of their child they didn't even know about. The idea was simple, but the development was tough. To make things perfect for parents this system had to be completely custom.

Comments from Jennifer Kyrnin: The first thing that comes to mind when I go to this site is "I wonder what this site is about". Unfortunately, while the rotating image at the top is nice, it doesn't tell me what this site is about either. I do think the pictures are cute, but that's not enough to grab me and pull me in. And I'm a new mother, so I'd imagine that I'm the site's target market. The challenge, for a site like this, is to draw people in right away - the point of the site should be clear with little effort. For example, I scrolled down the page and the "Save memories..." seemed like an ad, so I skipped over it to read the Features. However, the first feature is "unlimited storage space". Since I'm not in the marketing for Web hosting, no matter how cute the kids are in the banner graphic, this didn't thrill me. Now, the one that would keep me reading on is the very last feature - "100% free to join". Of course, then I scrolled to the very bottom and found the pricing link, which was confusing as well.
This site has made a good start. The text is easy to read, and the colors are pleasing and eye-catching. The code is well written to get search engine placement, although getting the HTML valid would help there. I would start by streamlining the header graphic - maybe even getting rid of it altogether. It's cute, but there is a limited amount of real-estate on a home page, and it shouldn't be filled with things that don't point directly to the ultimate goal of conversions. I would get another call to action right at the top of the page - especially for people who've heard of this site already and know they want to sign up. Plus the call to action "Start Saving Memories" is very powerful.
