Comments from developer: This is the most current redesign of my personal web site. After working as a web designer and marketer for over 8 years now I have learned a lot more about CSS and proper optimization. This web site is a culmination of this knowledge. It's not totally done but it features a tableless design, good use of white space and some interesting CSS tricks like negative margins and list navigation, and a neat bit of javascript called light box. I am very happy with the design as it's very flexible light
Comments from Jennifer Kyrnin: I like this design. I like the use of rounded images to give a bit more depth to the columns. And the HTML is excellent - good use of divs for site divisions and headings for headlines and so on. The only confusing thing was the image itself - I realize that it's probably a portfolio picture, but I thought for a second that the site was going to be about skiing. I would look into doing something to that image to make it clearer that it's an example, not content.
