Comments from developer: The client asked for a classy site with a charcoal color scheme and valid xhtml optimized for Search Engines. I created the site with a content first, header and nav second html layout and used css to position it the opposite way round on screen. Also made sure every part of the site validated and loaded as quickly as possible without sacrificing the look and feel of the site.
Comments from Jennifer Kyrnin: I don't usually like designs with rotating graphics - the animation is typically poorly done or pointless. But in this case, I find I like it. The image in the upper right gently fades from one band member to another with the accolades above the navigation fading in and out at the same pace. The images are all nicely balanced and equal in color - so there isn't a huge clash when one fades into the next. This site does an excellent job of fitting the mood of the site - I completely believe that they are the number 1 wedding band of the North East. And if I were getting married and lived in the North East, I would want to hire them.
