Comments from Jennifer Kyrnin: Using an image or a look-alike image to another brand is not a good idea unless you have explicit permission to do so. While it may be possible that Allen has received permission from the Wiley publishing company for the use of that image, I would be surprised. This is especially true if you are trying to sell something on your site - that image has a specific meaning, and the owners of it might not want it associated with your product - no matter how nice it is.
Please note: I've received information from Allen that this site does have permission to use this logo. That's good! For others considering using a recognizable logo, follow Allen's lead and always get permission. Your site will benefit and you won't get into legal trouble.
