Owner: Claudio Carneiro

Editor used: Dreamweaver and Flash

Comments from developer: It's a site about my trips, mostrly a diary. I do it for my family, friends and people interested in visiting the places. On the site each destination homepage and function is designed differently. Sometimes only in DHTML, sometimes in Flash, sometimes using JAlbum. I take a long time designing each one, since I write comments to every picture on it.

Comments from Jennifer Kyrnin: Don't be misled, this is a Flash page. While the HTML and components download very quickly, I found that the Flash itself was slower to load. I'm sure that the elements are nice, but ultimately, I found it annoying. The colors on this page are very muted. This is because when you hover over the pictures they saturate and show the full color. But again, this was slow, and many of the pictures were so desaturated that they were hard to tell what they were of, let alone who was in it. I'm sure that his family and friends really enjoy this site, and I see no reason for Claudio to change it, but I would get rid of the Flash and make a more dynamic site using JavaScript or DHTML so that the site is accessible and loads more quickly.
