Comments from developer: I really love design, but anything i design never comes out the way I thought it would, so i decided to let the site stay simple, with few graphics which represents the simplicity of the way i program. I love the way it came out and hope others see it as attractive and also usable design.

Comments from Jennifer Kyrnin: This is a gorgeous example of how to use typography to manage your site design. The colors are simple and easy on the eyes and the fonts are easy to read. Even the small fonts are fairly easy to read because they use sans serif fonts to remove the clutter. And then serif fonts for the larger text to make them easier to read.

I really wanted the white text in the main body of the page to be links, and I kept trying to click on them. This was a bit disappointing. Also, the variable capitalization looked like there were typos on the page rather than that they were supposed to be there. I also wonder what the page looks like in IE on Windows, when it says at the bottom "best viewed on Mac/Firefox". This is an interesting browser choice, because Windows is the most popular OS, and Safari is the most popular browser on Mac. So Fred is focused on a smaller market share.
