The page-break-before property defines where forced page breaks should appear in a paged document.

page-break-before: auto | always | avoid | left | right | inherit

  • autobr]Never force a page break before the generated box.
  • always
    Always force a page break before the generated box.
  • avoid
    Avoid a page break before the generated box.
  • left
    Force 1 or 2 page breaks before so that the next page is a left page.
  • right
    Force 1 or 2 page breaks before so that the next page is a right page.
  • inherit
    The element should have the same page-break-before setting as the parent.
