After having paid $129 for Sausage Software, and having had to reinstall my OS a few times, I lost my registration key for HotDog Professional 7.03, and in a perfect reality, I got ripped off by Sausage Software for all their policing of their software. In reality the stole about $100+ from me. They never returned emails or phone calls; just totally stone walled my concerns.
I talked with CoffeeCup, who also make a good text editor as well as other neat gadgets and useful software for webbing, and was told that they would rather spend their efforts on building good software, and in helping their clients than in over policing their registrations, and that I would not lose my rights if I did have mishaps with Windows which is fairly consistent; I usually solve all my problems with Windows by reinstalling the entire OS. CoffeeCup is also much better priced than HotDog, and offers free upgrades and support for life. I thought by paying more, I would get more: wrong; Sausage Software is something more for the toilet than your computer; you just click and flush.
