Guide Review - NetObjects Fusion version 10 - Web Editing Software Customer Review

Customer Review

NetObjects Fusion was relatively easy to build sites in and it also had a lot of features and capabilities. It's a WYSIWYG website builder but has many capabilities like flash, php, ASP, java, etc. It includes well over 100 different styles that you can use to build your site with. There is also another program that you can purchase called "nPower" that allows your clients to make changes to a website. Free support is offered and the user group is very good for helping with issues.

The "re-optimize" feature is supposed to increase the efficiency of a website. I didn't have any problems with this feature in version 8 or version 9, but in version 10 it began to crash and trash my websites. After re-installing NOF 10 and update #3, I built 3 simple websites and the re-optimize feature crashed those sites too. The response I received when I submitted a support ticket was that the product was not perfect and that sometimes sites become corrupted depending on the site structure, on how large it is, on the time you spent working continuously on the site, on how often you saved the site, how often you switched views, etc.

Because of this reliability problem in version 10, I would recommend NetObjects Fusion version 9 but not version 10.
