There are hundreds if not thousands of editors you can use to edit web pages, how can you choose which ones are best? These are the best editors according to About.com reader reviews. You can also look at my reviews of Windows HTML Editors, Macintosh HTML Editors, and Linux HTML Editors. If your favorite editor is not on this list, you should submit your own review.

1. Dreamweaver Rated Best Editor

Dreamweaver is my favorite editor, and this year the readers agreed, with an average rating of 5 stars from 6 reviews. Dreamweaver is a WYSIWYG and text HTML editor for Windows and Macintosh.

CoffeeCup can do better! It won the 2010 About.com Reader's Choice Awards, but without more reviews, it can't rank #1 in the best editor category. Let us know if you think CoffeeCup should be crowned the best editor.
